Welcome to the CrewHost network. Who are we? Simply put, we are a hosting cooperative - a group of web designs and developers who have banded together to offer a simple no hassle hosting & e-mail service.
How does it work?
Very simply, just fill out the sign-up form. We'll set up your domain(s) for you and send you name server, FTP, and e-mail information. If you have trouble we'll help you.
What plans are there?
We don't have any Gold, Silver Bronze type packages. They are ridiculous. How do you know if your website will get 10MB or 100MB of bandwidth transfer over a 2 second bit window averaged out over a 30 day period, capped at 6%? Forget that. With CrewHost you tell us what you want to do in plain English and we'll set you up. If you need more or less space then don't worry about it. Our model is to monitor the entire system - as long as the system is within peak performance parameters (PPP for short, LOL, just kidding) everyone is ok. It's only if you consistently have mega issues that we'll drop you a line and chat about what's going on and maybe suggest a different rate. We won't shut you down without notice.
What if I need help?
We have provided technical help on our website. The info here answers the most common questions. If you have a more complicated issue then just let us know and we'll do what we can to help you. If it is not a hosting issue we'll point you in the right direction and introduce you to people who can help. You aren't contacting a help desk in India, you're talking to real people in North America!
How do I pay?
Once you're up and running we'll send you a link to subscribe to your plan with PayPal. Just sign up for automatic monthly payments billed to your credit card or PayPal acount. If you need to pay by cash, cheque or batter then CrewHost is not for you, but again we can introduce you to someone who does accept those forms of payment. You only pay for the months of service you use and can cancel anytime. There are no set-up or termination fees and no deposits.
What is I need a domain or website design help or marketing help?
Our cooperative partners are specialists in many areas of design, programming and starting up a business. Just ask and we'll point you in the right direction.
